Dear Black Woman

Dear Black Woman: I KNOW YOU ARE TIRED, But You Are About to Walk in Your Full Inheritance

Today, on National Black Girl Day Off, I want to speak to your heart. I know you're tired. I know that, at times, the weight of carrying so much for so long makes you question how you can keep going. But let me remind you of this: God has placed in you the spirit of Isaac. You, Black woman, are not just surviving—you are on the brink of stepping into the fullness of your inheritance.

Isaac wasn’t just another son; he was the promise. God gave Abraham everything, and he passed it all on to Isaac—his full inheritance. And guess what? Aren’t you a seed of Abraham? Your skin color, or the lack thereof, the struggles you’ve faced, the opposition you’ve encountered, none of it can stop what’s about to manifest in the spirit.

God has seen every tear, every moment of exhaustion. But He is telling you now, “Do not give up. You are about to inherit the promise.” The struggles you’ve gone through are preparing you for the blessings that are about to be released. What’s been sealed in the spirit is about to manifest in the natural—an overflow, a harvest, and a season of rest.

What is National Black Girl Day Off?

Today, we pause, as Black women, to rest. Not just physical rest, but to rest in the truth of God’s promises. The world may demand much from you, but this is a day where you step back and remember who you are: a daughter of the King, worthy of every promise God has spoken over your life.

The spirit of Isaac speaks to inheritance, to being chosen despite all odds, and to receiving what is rightfully yours. Black woman, the world may not always see your value, but God does. Today is about you. It’s about reclaiming your strength through rest and reflection, and positioning yourself for what God is about to do.

You Are the Seed of Abraham

Abraham didn’t just bless Isaac with a portion—he gave him everything. Just as Isaac received the full inheritance, you are standing at the threshold of receiving all that God has for you. Genesis 25:5 says, “Abraham gave all that he had to Isaac.” That same inheritance is yours through Jesus Christ (Galatians 3:29). You are part of a royal lineage, and God is preparing to pour out blessings so great that you won’t have room enough to receive it (Malachi 3:10).

Don’t Let Tiredness Stop You from Claiming the Promise

I know the journey has been hard. You’ve fought battles that no one else has seen. You’ve carried burdens that others couldn’t even begin to comprehend. But, like Isaac, you are about to receive your promised blessing. Don’t give up. The Bible says, "Let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not give up" (Galatians 6:9).

This is your due season, Black woman. What you are going through is a setup for what’s coming. The very things that tried to break you are becoming the building blocks of your future.

Practical Tips to Walk in the Spirit of Isaac

  1. Rest in God’s Promise: Take this day off to rest—emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Spend time meditating on God’s promises for your life (Matthew 11:28-30). Don’t let the enemy steal your peace.

  2. Speak Life Over Yourself: Declare the inheritance over your life. Say, “I am a seed of Abraham. I will inherit every promise that God has spoken. I will not let my tiredness keep me from the fullness of what is coming.”

  3. Release Your Burdens: Write down the things that have been weighing you down. Release them through prayer, journaling, and reflection. You are not meant to carry it all alone.

  4. Stay Connected to God: Don’t neglect time with God. In the same way Isaac stayed connected to the legacy of Abraham, you stay connected to your Heavenly Father. Spend time in prayer, reading the Word, and worship.

How to Receive the Isaac Anointing

The "Isaac anointing" is about trusting God even when the circumstances around you don't make sense. Just like Isaac trusted when his father took him up Mount Moriah, you must trust that God is working behind the scenes for your good. Here’s how to receive it:

  1. Pray for Clarity and Strength: Ask God to give you the strength to endure this season and the clarity to see His hand at work in your life.

  2. Activate Your Faith: Walk in faith. The Isaac anointing is about stepping into your inheritance, even when you don’t fully see it yet. Declare what God has spoken over your life.

  3. Surround Yourself with Support: Find people who will lift you up in prayer, who will encourage you when you feel weak. Your journey to inheritance is not one you need to walk alone.

Bible Verses for Today

  • Galatians 3:29: “If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”

  • Isaiah 40:31: “But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”

  • Philippians 4:19: “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”

Remember, you are not just working for a paycheck or validation from the world. You are a daughter of the Most High, and your inheritance is secure in Christ. Keep pressing forward, knowing that what is coming will outweigh the tiredness you feel right now. Today, take the time to rest and prepare yourself for the manifestation of God's promises in your life.

Do not give up, Black woman. Your Isaac is coming.

Be blessed, stay rested, and trust that what you are about to walk into is far greater than what you’re leaving behind.
