Guarding Your Seed in a World That Feels Shaky

Lately, it’s been heavy.
Not just in the news, not just in our cities—but in the spirit.
It’s a real sensitive time right now. So much so, that if you're not discerning, you won’t be able to tell God’s children from the world.

Because both are showing fear.
Both are sounding confused.
Both are asking, “God, where are You?”

But here’s the thing. The difference isn’t always in the noise—it’s in the peace we carry when we’ve truly been sitting with Him. It’s in the posture of faith when everything is shaking.

I was reminded by the Holy Spirit this week, “Shut up.”
Not in a harsh way. But in a loving, protective whisper.

Because I was talking too much.
Trying to share vision with people who only see through fear.
Trying to drop gems in places that were never meant to catch them.
Trying to help… when God didn’t ask me to.

The truth is, some of the seeds you’re planting right now—dreams, plans, ideas, even encouragement—are not being devoured by the devil. They’re being devoured by people you trust. People you love. People who simply don’t have the capacity to hold what God gave you.

So, what do we do?

We stay quiet.
We stay planted.
We water in private.
And we let the fruit speak when it’s ready.

If you’re in a season where your faith feels like it’s clashing with the world, don’t let that discourage you. It just means you’re growing. It just means what you’re carrying is valuable. It just means the enemy would love for you to get frustrated and spill too much too soon.

But not this time.

This time, we listen to the Spirit.
This time, we protect the vision.
This time, we wait for God’s “go”—not man’s approval.

“Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs.
If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.”

Stay encouraged. Your breakthrough isn’t delayed—it’s being developed.
And as always, remember this: You are Rich by Proximity.
Not because of what you have, but because of Who you’re close to.
